Her dedication to our theatre was extraordinary—she generously volunteered her time and incredible talent as a seamstress to create beautiful costumes for countless productions. Her commitment and artistry touched every show she worked on and enriched our theatre community immeasurably.
Beyond her work with us, Connie was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who gave generously to numerous community organizations throughout Cheyenne. Her warmth, kindness, and willingness to help wherever needed made

Obituary
Constance Joan (Skovgard) Skoetsch
April 1943 - September 27, 2025
She was born in April 1943 in Basin, Wyo., to Merle and Lylas (Olsen) Skovgard. She grew up there and after completing high school attended the Billings, Mont., Business College. From there she moved to Casper, Wyo., where she worked for one year before moving to Cheyenne.
She married Rolf Skoetsch in 1964, and they have two daughters, Rebecca and Erika, and ultimately granddaughter Kaycee.
Connie was a stay-at-home mom while the girls were young and stayed very busy with volunteer projects at the Sun Valley Swimming Pool, 4-H chapter, Girl Scouts, First Congregational Church, Bain Elementary School library, and the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players, Jessup Elementary as classroom aide, among others.
Besides being a great mother, and later grandmother to Kaycee, she was a wonderful wife and supporter to Rolf in his military and civilian careers. She also was a talented seamstress. She had been making clothes for herself and the girls all along, and then she was asked by the Grier Furniture store to try her hand at making custom window drapes, which she did for several years.
When Little Theatre needed a volunteer to make costumes, she stepped up and this turned into a multiyear commitment. She also made dresses for individual customers, as well as helping several 4-H girls with their sewing projects at the same time.
Over the years her handiwork supported projects for the Animal Shelter and Senior Citizen Center, with items ranging from baby receiving blankets to repairing horse blankets and ultimately sewing Covid 19 face masks.
When she got married, she worked at the Wyoming Highway Department. After the girls got older, she was employed, full or part time, at the Bain Elementary library, the School District Food Service, and finally the Wyoming State Engineer office from where she retired in 2010.
She loved living in Wyoming near family, her dogs, the horse she finally got after moving into the county, and the wonderful and peaceful horseback rides the family took whenever possible. Her special joy was watching granddaughter Kaycee grow up.
She is survived by her husband Rolf; daughters Rebecca Schooley (Eric) and Erika Warner (Brandon); as well as granddaughter Kaycee Warner.
Services will be private with family. In lieu of cards and flowers please donate to the Cheyenne Little Theatre Players or the Animal Shelter.

RFP for Dinner Theater Caterer
Cheyenne Little Theatre Players Dinner Theatre
In preparation for The Cheyenne Little Theatre Players 93rd season, CLTP is seeking a caterer to cater all the dinner theatre productions this upcoming year.
We do not have onsite kitchen facilities.
This year we plan to have three dinner theatre productions: one possible in September, one in December, and one in March. The fall and spring productions will have dinner theater at the three Saturday performances during the run of the show, with an average of 50-70 dinners needed per Saturday. The December production will have dinner theater at the first Saturday evening and the two following Fridays and Saturdays for a total of five dinner theater shows, with around 80-120 meals per show.
For dinner theater menu, we usually have rolls and butter on the tables and start with salad with a choice of dressing. We then offer diners a choice of three entrees, two meat entrees and one vegetarian entrée, with a side dish. For dessert, we have offered two different dessert options. We are open to amendments of this format. Some past dinners have included chicken cordon bleu with rice pilaf, roast beef, mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables, pesto angel hair pasta.
We take food orders at the theatre and give our caterer a preliminary food count a week out from the performance date. We give them a final count 3 days before the event, but it usually changes by fewer than 10 orders overall from the preliminary count.
Please note: We do have patrons with allergies. Please let us know if you are willing to make adjustments to accommodate these patrons. We would notify you in advance of any allergies.
Bid proposals should include a per plate estimate and a sample menu. We are looking for an approximate per plate cost of $20-$26, including food, labor, and profit.
Bids may be submitted through March 22 at 5:00 p.m.
We will award the contract by April 1st.
Please send questions or bids to cltpinfo@cheyennelittletheatre.org.
